I am currently working on Struts. I am not clear whether taking the SCWCD will help in my current profile.
Please give your advice on this.

The SCWCD exam has nothing to do with Struts. The certification is just servlets and JSPs. No fully worked MVC architecture like Struts is assumed. You are examined on pure servlet and JSP material. Your probably thinking that it isn't much material, but you'd be wrong.

By taking the SCWCD exam, you will have servlets down cold, whereas doing Struts by itself isolates you from the action servlet and so you really forget how much work it does for you. And in the end, you still need to write pages to display whether your using Struts or not, so the JSP stuff will help you too.
