Just passed 287 in 6/30 Here is my perp order: 1.Websphere Certification Study Guide Developing J2EE Applications With IBM Websphere Studio (read all chapter) 2.Whizlabs 287 3.HF servlets and JSP (read what i forgot) 4.HF SCBCD (re-read what i forgot) 5.ICE-test 287 prepare about one mouth. average 1 hr/per day. (got job to do ) I think Howard Kushner and ICE-test 287 (U must read though this!) plus the exam experience discuss in this fourm (BIG THX!!) , is enough to pass this exam. Whizlabs 287 ...What can i say....I am disappointed about this product. The EJB & JSP & Servlet question is just too easy and trivial. The question TYPE and DEEP is different than the REAL 287 exam. ( I am wondering that whether these question are the same or just modified a little bit then put among these simulators ps. I have used Whizlabs SCBCD & SCWCD , 484 not use yet, but soon~) Each Whizlabs practice exam i only spend 30+ min to finish. Make me think this exam is not that hard and all i need is facus on the WAS part object. ( Although i already know some people think this exam is the most hard one) But when i tool the real exam, I was shock about 20 min at first . EJB, JSP Servlet relate question are not that simple and they are related to WASD. NOT JUST ASK SIMPLE QUESTION when u take SUN's SCBCD. (I got 90+ on that one) And by the way, i am not finish all the questions, the last 5 question i just GUESS! I feel so humiliated. I will take 484 soon. Hope not happen again. I believe yes, as the sample test is very useful for preparing for the real test. Nick

Hi Dracula Chen, Congrats man i planning to appear for test 287 this month end i have never taken any IBM exams. will you please through in some more light on the preparation and the level of difficulty of the questions compared to suns exams on the similar topics.are the questions more on API or on the overall concept . As per your suggestion in your earlier post I am using Howard Kushner book can i only depend on this book. as you said you could not attempt 5 questions does that mean the question are very length and take out more to time to read through. this test even doesnt have any mock tests or the notes available except the IBMs 10$ mock test. I am planning to read through Howard Kushner thoroughly and browse couple of month back I have cleared SCBCD-74% and also preparing for SCWCD. please reply back thanks Mahendr SCJP SCBCD SCWCD (Preparing) IBM 287 (Preparing)

Hi Mahendra, I got 79 for 287. I think the sample test is very good for the praparation. I mainly use IBM redbooks of WSAD and WAS, EJB version 3 and Mastering EJB 2. I have 287 book, but I do not like it very much. Thanks, Adam
