I have decided to take SCJP 1.4. But some of my friends suggest that I should take SCJP 5.0 certification. But 5.0 has lot of new features and concepts.

But the version that is mostly used in the industry is Java 2.0. So what is the right decision.

Hi Pradeep,

Taking SCJP 1.5 would be a better option, as there is no harm in learning the new features, eventhough you are not going to use them for quite some time.

You can refer teh following links..

Thanks and Regards,

SCJP 1.4 ,SCBCD 1.3,SCWCD 1.4, MCP
