One of my friend is working on Informatica and she is planning to do a certification on the same. Can anyone throw some light on, where to start with, books & online materials if any, etc ...

Hello All
I am also planning to give the "R - PowerCenter 8 Architecture and Administration" exam for Informatica PowerCenter8. After searching the net I came to know that I will be able to get the study materials only after I register for the exam, which costs 200 USD. Can someone here please tell me if there is any online free study material available for this exam, apart from the normal Informatica Product Doccumentation?
