I'm considering taking the CISSP security exam, after I finish my PMP, but I'm concerned that few people will know what it is, compared to my other certs (Enterprise Architect, DBA, PMP[hopefully] ).
I can read the CISSP book and have a good understanding without putting myself through the grief of preping for the actual exam.

if the CISSP is a reputable exam the security people will be aware of it.
Worst case it shows you have in interest in making security a career path.
