Hi All,
I have read a lot of posts here regarding these 2 sets of certification.
Now tests 633, 634 and 635 will result in IBM Certified Specialist -- Rational Object Oriented Analysis and Design v2003
However, tests 833 and 834 results in IBM Certified Solution Designer - Object Oriented Analysis and Design, vUML 2.
I have worked a lot in UML and on reading Martin Fowler, can very easily grasp most of what he states as I have used his advice in my work over 3 years.
My initial step is to secure the IBM
Test 486 on UML but with doubts hanging over it being withdrawn ( which I doubt coz IBM has not mentioned it on their website) I am now stuck in 2 minds on which path to pursue.
Tests 833/34 seem most ideal as the certification is independent of IBM products ( for a change! ) and any sort of advice / help on what path to take is welcome.
I am currently reading Martin Fowler which will be followed by Craig Larman. But which exam do I pursue? IBM test 486 for sure if it is not withdrawn.
But after that which one? And are the above 2 authors enough to take test 833/34?? Which books would make the best material to ace these exams?
Thanks a mil
Ken
