Hi,

Please take a loot at:
https://coderanch.com/t/145947/po/certification/IBM-passed

In short you need to study from:
1. Craig Larmen ( OOA&D specific things, Use cases, Interaction diagrams, Class Diagrams )
2. RMC ( Analysis & Design discipline )

You can just select a topic from objectives and read that from RMC and Craig Larmen.

Hi Faraz

Could you please clarify following doubts of mine.

1.Could you please point out the chapters you would recommend from Craig Larmen's book.

2. Also i downloaded RMC yesterday and had a look at the "Analysis & Design discipline". There are lots of items under this section. Could you please specify which items i should concentrate on from Analysis & Design discipline.

thanks in advance
Puneet

Hi,

1. Study the following chapters from Craig Larmen:
(Chapter 5 to 16 and Chapter 28 to 33)
2. Study the topics below from RMC:
a. Analysis & Design
b. Architecture Analysis
c. Use case Analysis & Use case Realization
d. Analysis Class
e. Structure Class
f. Analysis Mechnism

You can also read the objectives from IBM site and than look that topic in RMC.

Yesterday i got RMC 7.5.2 and i couldn't find the Analysis & Design discipline, i found others disciplines but not that discipline. This discipline still exists on RUP?
One thing i noted it's that my RMC doesnt have the coreRUP library. Someone could help me?
