Passed 833 with 100% and 834 with 95% today,

I'd used the original IBM UML exam 486 recommended books

UML Distilled
by Martin Fowler

Applying UML Patterns
by Craig Larman

But looking at sample exams I found it essential to know the RUP process, Define Candidate Architecture, Analyse Behaviour, Refine Archicture, Design Componenets
that I felt was not covered in the above two books.

In addition as per earlier advice on this board I download IBMs Rational Method Composer trial version from the link below

Once installed (with a free registered ID), open the tool and launch help -> RMC Process Browser. In the process browser, click on tab 'team' -> 'Disciplines' -> 'Analysis & Design'.

What editions of the books did you use ?

I used the 3rd edition of both UML Distilled
by Martin Fowler and Applying UML Patterns
by Craig Larman

But found very little reference in either to RUP as needed in the exam. Hence the need to look at help in Rational Composer
