Has anyone tried the XML@Whiz tutorial + test simulator?. http://www.whizlabs.com/products/xmlwhiz/xmlwhiz.html
Please let's have your feedback on this product. At a first glance it looks good...

Hi Louis,
Yes I have used XML@Whiz. I was not very impressed with it as it didn't cover all the topics and also the questions didn't seems very challenging. But recently they have come up with their version 2.0 (which I got free!! Of course ;-)). I haven't seen it fully but Yes I would admit that they have improved a lot!
Now they have 296 questions (4 mock tests) covering all the topics including design questions and quite challenging. Their tutorial is very introductory and basic, so don't rely on that for preparation, go for XML Bible (the best book in my opinion).
Wishing you all the best!!

Kelly-
Many thanks for sharing your experience. I am already studying with XML Bible. It's a very good book. But, does it cover everything for the exam?. When do you plan to write the exam?. All the best and looking forward to reading your success story on Javaranch.

Well it doesn't cover everything. Specially it doesn't contain material on SAX and DOM (XML Processing API's). Also it doesn't have good material on designing XML applications. For that I would suggest you read XML handbook and XML by example and Inside XML. One major point, you must practice questions (which you will find rare, the only good source I know of is XML@Whiz which you already know of)....few good questions are also available on this forum made by Ajith, but they are only 6 in number, so you can't get anything more than a idea from them. Of course I am assuming that youo must have explored the IBM website sample test paper, if not please do that, that's a must. I am planning to take the exam next week. Hope things go well...and hey thanks for your wishes, they kinda boost me up...OK bye then...if you need anything just write...
Take Care
All the best!!

louis,
i tool IBM Exam by studying only XML Bible book, and did browse w3c spec, and few sites for Latest XML tech,
But all together XML bible is a good book and it covers almost everything and more than what u want in the exam, alteast u can score 60% by studying that book alone,
If u want to score more than that ,better read some more books,
ok
ALL the best

Kelly and Ravi-
Many thanks. I am now very motivated to study for this test. Kelly, let me know how your test goes.
Question for Ravi-
I saw that you scored 83% in the test. That's a great score considering what I have seen so far. So how long did you prepare for the test. This could help me to guage my study pace.
Louis.
