Hi, If I want to buy one book to prepare for the certification exam, which would that be? I need a book that covers most of the topics that are to be prepared for the exam, easy to understand and informative. I am not able to make the final decision out of these: 1. Professional XML Second Edition 2. XML bible 3. XML by example 4. XML and Java Please help me in finding that. Thanks. Vibha.

Hi, Right now I do study for the 141 certification and after reading a couple of books I strongly recommend the following books: 1. Professional XML 2nd Edition Recommended Reading: ch. 2,3,4,5,6,8,9,11,12,24,27 2. Professional XML Schemas Recommended Reading: ch. 1-9 3. XSLT O'Reilly Recommended Reading: ch. 1-9 (that's the whole first part of the book) if you have money left: 4. XSLT Programmer's Reference I didn't like the XML Bible too much.

Vibha, My choice is #1: Professional XML 2nd Edition. Based on Ranchers discussion I conlcude that reading this book and some other links is far enough to pass exam 141. IMO, all these books are too big. A not so extensive, and also a good book is "XML in a Nutshell".
