How to get started with the certification?

Hi,
I have been working with XML/XSL for four months and would like to go in for the certification.
Some doubts:
1. Which test do I take, 140 or 141?
2. I have Professional XML 2nd Edition with me. Will that be sufficient?
3. Is there some kind of weightage for each of the topics? Which are the most important ones?
4. How much time will it take me to get certified considering that I have been working in this for the last four months?
Please let me know soon.
Thanks and warm regards,
Kapil

Hi Kapil,
Go for Test 141. There is no complete book for the test, thus its a combination of books : XML Bible is another good book which you may consider.
Do follow the links on the top of this page for more resources. Don't miss the following 2 mock exams:
A.) Samplet Test at IBM's site
B.) XML@Whiz Test at http://www.whizlabs.com
Regarding the time, it depends on person to person. Do give a sample test of ibm/diagnostic test in XMLWhiz and you shud be able to get some feedback on your depth of preparation.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes
richard

I'm also new to this group, started to study last month.
But I'm not too confident . Most of people here say the exam is very tough. I fear to spend a lot of time studing by the resources I find at the internet and then don't be successful.
I ask everybody who has done the test to exchange their experience with us and inform the best way to prepare for it.
