Hi All!
I am very very depressed! A couple of hours back I appeared in the test and scored just 63%.
I have obtained 80%+ a number of times in the Sample Test and I think i understand most of the objectives.
Plz tell me what should i do now!
Can any body suggest when should I appear in the test next ? and how i would be confident of my preparation
All Suggestions are Welcome!

Hi, it is really a pity, share your feeling.
I think you may try to find out which module
is weakest and do more exercise on it, and go
through the "professional xml second version" again, write down some questions you met in the test and think them again. Hope you good luck next time.

Hi Eesha,
Don't give up and have the confidence. Its not only you...
Do work hard on the topics you are week in. Follow the suggestions of people who have passed the exam. As there is not any concise book for this exam try to have hands on the required topics from different books. Don't miss XMLWhiz form whizguys, its really helping me great.
Take some time to analyse and then go for it. I am sure that u will ahve success now.

Hi Eesha,
Cheer up! The same thing happened to me in IBM-486 (Object Oriented Analysis and Design with UML). I had really prepared hard for the exam, but only got 61%. I, too, got very depressed but nothing could be achieved from negative thoughts... so I pulled myself together and retook the exam only 11 days after failing. You can imagine the delight I got when I raised my head reluctantly and saw 'green'! I still cherish passing that exam, even in 2nd attempt, as I know many who failed 3 or 4 times!
This brings us to another point: Passing IBM exams is always more difficult than others'. You ought to know what IBM expects the answer to be, rather than what the books say!
So, cheer up. I know we'll soon hear the happy news from you!

Cheer up Esha !
This exam is really tough, as apparent from the posts of those who passed it. You must have heard "Girte hain shehsawar hi maidan-e-jung mein, wo kufr kya giringe jo ghutno ke bal chalte hain". Good Luck for next time and I know it's gonna be a successfull one.

Eesha,
Sorry to hear that you could not get thru the test. I would suggest continue with a revision of the topics and try it again in another week or two. I am sure you'll be able to make it thru. Also concentrate on topics that you've scored the least. Look at this post for Viktor's page

Good luck next time!
