I have XML bible and Professional XML with me. How do I go about getting the best from both as they both are 1000+ pgs books and I cannot afford to go through both the books fully.....
Also there is no mention of the edition on the Professional XML book.
Here is the ISBN no. 1-861003-11-0. can anyone tel me which edition is it....

If your goal is to get certified, then you don't have to read all the 1000 pages( phew! ). I'd say just stick to the published objectives on IBM website and use your book as a study guide.
Don't forget to read XML specs. No book is as good as the spec itself. If the document on w3c.org is too esoteric for you, try reading the best annotated xml spec published ever. I have fallen in love with this document.
DOM spec all the way till level 3 is somewhat important too.
