which book for beginners?

Hi! 
I want to go for XML certification but, and i'm just at the beginning stage of learning XML.
So, which book is better for this purpose apart from Professional XML?
And,how much time it'll take for the preparation.
Is three months ok?
anyone please do suggest?

The book I used to get started was "A Complete Idiot's Guide to XML". As the name suggests, all the material is spoon-fed and repeated three different ways. "XML for Dummies" is a beginner's book at a somewhat higher level. "XML in a Nutshell" is not a beginners book, book it may be helpful after you are somewhat familiar, and may also be useful for certification. There are various online materials and tutorials which can help get you started.
