What should be the machine set up to have hands on for XML Cert

Can anybody tell me what are the softwares I need to install to have handson on the topics for XML Cert.

Well, at a minimum you might have:
Java SDK (1.4, if possible)
xerces (XML parser)
xalan (XSLT processor)
I think Java 1.4 comes with xerces but check to make sure. To be safe you can get xerces, and xalan, from apache.org.
