First of all, big thanks to this terrific forum and all ranchers! I just used some SAX and DOM in my projects. Started preparation three months ago, studied the 3 books IBM recommended on and off. Got the free exam voucher from IBM. Didn't have enough time to do the preparation because I have been very busy doing my projects. So had to postpone my presence twice and had to take it today because the voucher is supposed to expire today. And then took 2 day off to do the full-time cram. I should say the exam is pretty difficult and besides testing your XML knowledge, it is also testing your English reading comprehension ability. Anyway I made it. And I believe you can also make it too if you do some serious reading. See my new title below My exam covered mostly DOM/SAX, XSLT, XML Schema/DTD, some XSL-FO. Basic questions about Web Services, XLink, etc.
Do use IBM sample test. I found some of them are very similar to the real questions. Now I am planning to study more MS .NET technologies. Anybody know any excellent online forum like this to deal with MS .NET? Cheers!

Tong Chen, A bunch of Congratulations!!! What a surprise, I remembered you since I did my SCWCD. We became SCWCD almost during the same time period, and what a coincidence that we both became IBM Certified XML Developer on same day !!!. I was also on and off in terms of preparation, and since my exam voucher was expiring on 31st march, I have to appear for test.!! So you are planning to do .net certification? I am planning to do certification but not understanding which one I should go for? Regards, Mehul.

Congrats to you too, Mehul! I probably try to MCAD and then MCDBA. Meanwhile since I got another free voucher from IBM for test 286, which is certification for IBM Certified Solution Developer - WebSphere Studio V5.0, so I will finish this first. I have been using WSAD V4.x, and just got V5.0. So it will take some time to get familiar with it. Also, IBM is issueing the free exam voucher for test 285 and test 286 right now. If you can catch up with it, it is still not too late to get the free voucher.... Best wishes to your certificate endevour!
