First of all thanks for all JavaRanchers, it's an excellent forum. I Started preparation eight months ago!!, studied the 3 books IBM recommended on and off. Got the free exam voucher from IBM. Didn't have enough time to do the preparation because I have been very busy doing my projects. I had to take exam on March 31st because the voucher is supposed to expire on that day. Exam was tough but I have read all the prior discussions in JavaRanch on this exam, and it helped a lot in gaining the insight about pros and cons of each technologies in light of the business problem. Do use IBM sample test. I found some of them are very similar to the real questions. There are a lot of thing I want to say but I will try to compile them and post on this message. I am quite busy in work, and u can imagine it from declaring my result after more than a week, and also some of the contents I copied from Tong Chen's prior message, ( I give credit for this to him :-) ) . 3 books listed by IBM for this Exam are the one required for the test preparation, I haven't read any other books, though I have read many articles, and visited many web resources available for this exam. Well then I hope to post a detailed message in few days, and once again thanks a lot to everyone who helped in making me IBM Certified XML Developer!!! Mehul. --IBM Certified Developer - XML and Related Technologies --Sun Certified Web Component Developer for J2EE Platform .....proud of it --Sun Certified Java Programmer for Java 2.0 --Brainbench Certified Perl Programmer --Brainbench Certified Java Programmer --NCST certified APGDST
