Hi kumar,
Java knowledge is not required !!! Most of the xml books use Java to demonstrate DOM and SAX. But these can be implemented in otehr languages also.
Professional XML - second Edition, the primary book required for the exam demonstrates examples in SAX and DOM using Java.
Essential XML - Quick reference gives the examples both in Java and Visual basic.
YOU wont be gettimg any questions related to Java in the exam. Most of teh questions covering DOM and SAX are related to "what does this function do?"
rather than "How is it implemented?"
