Just passed the sample test. Do I need to do anything so that I can receive the voucher? or anyone who took and passed the 141 sample test will receive the voucher if the 2000 vouchers are not used up.

I received the one for 141 on February 13. U dont need to do anything.

I am still in confused state.

Please clarify me some doubts that I have.

1. I think we need to take the sample test by paying 10$ as exam fee. Why should they conduct sample test by asking questions from the URL that you have provided? If the same set of questions are going to appear in the sample test, then what is the need for such sample test?

2. If we pass this sample test, will IBM provide $175 worth exam voucher for us? Does it mean that we are taking the IBM XML 141 exam for just 10$.

Please let me know the answer for these questions.

I am planning to take up XML certification in 3-4 months of time. I would like to recieve inputs from all of you.

I completed the sample test just now!!

No need to know anything in XML to write the sample test. Just use the link and answer all the questions. I got 100% in the sample test.

Answering your questions:

1 - Some guys already took the test and decided to share the questions. Because it is an online test, you are able to do it. IBM does not care about these tests, I mean updating them, because they will replace those certification exams soon. So, they are doing a big sale, just to finish with some old stuff.

2 - When you schedule your test, you have the option to pay for it ot use a promotion code. This code is exactely the one that you will receive from IBM.

I haven't received any voucher. I have seen messages that people got the voucer who passed long after that.

Do you get the voucher code in the email or by snail mail or how?

you will get the voucher in the email. Did you provide the right email address? I got my voucher on the very next day after I had written the exam.

Yesterday only I noticed that my email address was missing one letter. I corrected at that time but it ddn't not updated. yesterday I took the test again hoping to get a voucher this time.

I took the exam on Feb 23rd and did not get the voucher till yesterday. I sent a mail to the contact group (certify@us.ibm.com) with the sample test details and i got the voucher today!!

Should we take the IBM XML test online or should we take the test only via Prometric centers?

I don't think it is over. They are saying that they have given to all till March 2. In the message just after that it is mentioned that one can qualify for Voucher till April 30 and then take exam till June 30.

Anyone here gave this exam recently and received voucher from IBM ?

please reply as I am intrested in writing this exam but do not want to waste $10 in case IBM is no loger giving out vouchers for exam.

I got the email recently from IBM reminding the expiration date of my voucher for which i got in February. They congratulated me for being one of the irst 2000 users. i assume the vouchers are over. Not sure though.
