Is it possible to take 141 exam now?

I bought a voucher for 141 exam . i prepared for that. is it possible to take up 141 exam now?. else we need to take only 142?. please clarify...
in scjp now also people are taking 1.4 after they introduced 1.5.

You can't take 141 exam because 141 exam is replaced by 142.

Regarding SCJP,you can take 1.4 exam because .1.5 is the new version and not an replacement for 1.4.

If you bought the voucher for 141,you can able to take the test of 142 using the same voucher but not 141.

i contaced the prometeric centre regarding the same.. They said it is possible to take 141 also. it s not a problem. anygave thanks a lot for the information

Hi cvr,
I would suggest you to wait for couple more weeks and get 142 certification which focusses on xml technologies that are largely used in the current market..so you will have demand for your certification ....

If you feel that you looking for just xml certification then go ahead..all the best..
