Dear Ranchers,

It is a matter of pride to share this moment with you, that i have passed the DB2 9 Fundamentals with 62% in only 10 hours prepration in a day,the exam looked tough in the beginning but went easy in the end,i would like to bring into your notice that the time 1:45 hour was not enough for the exam, with my speed i usually finish a sun exam with 40-45 minutes remaining in the last, but with this exam i was left with only 10 minutes.
Still i am happy with the unexpected result. :thumb:

Thanks and Regards, Anand

Congratulations.

I think having a database cert in your skillset is very beneficial. Employers always wonder about a Java programmers database skills.

Was there anything unexpected on the exam?

Dear Cameron,

A question was of sql which was having all options wrong ,it was something like you had to check salary greater then 30000,and the options were two tables with union, intersection, except and normal select statement not a sign of 30000 in any query, that was definetely wrong.

I guess DB2 related stuff should be posted here:

Instead of the XML certification. ;)

Anyway, congrats for passing.

Nick
