Hi Mr Monson-Haefel,
Question 1. I find this element <wsdl-file>/WEB-INF/wsdl/bookquote.wsdl</wsd> is also used for webserice-description for EJB endpoint in your book on page 699. I guess for EJB endpoint it sould be
<wsdl-file>/META-INF/wsdl/bookquote.wsdl</wsd>
Which is correct?
Thanks,

Thanks,<br />Jack Zhou<br />SCJP, SCJD, SCWCD, SCBCD, SCDJWS,SCEA

Ouch! Your right. That's an error. Actually two of the elements are wrong. Here is the fix:
Listing 23-5, page 699
CHANGE
<wsdl-file>/WEB-INF/wsdl/bookquote.wsdl</wsdl-file>
<jaxrpc-mapping-file>/WEB-INF/bookquote.map</jaxrpc-mapping-file>

TO
<wsdl-file>/META-INF/wsdl/bookquote.wsdl</wsdl-file>
<jaxrpc-mapping-file>/META-INF/bookquote.map</jaxrpc-mapping-file>

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
