Oracle said the result will be announced in early July, and thus, I still need to wait. However, as of the promotion, if a beta tester passes or tends to pass 1z1-036, he will receive a free voucher for 1z1-040 exam, and I did receive that voucher, and thus, I guess, even fail, my score will be very closed to the passing rate. I'll toss my hat in and say it'll probably be around 55, since I like that number. The recent exams all seem to tend between the mid-fifties and mid-sixties. However, that being said, I will go one step further and predict that whatever the passing score will be, my score will be one question less than is required for passing.

I would go with 55% same as SCMAD, 'cos I feel both the technologies are in the same boat as far as their acceptance and usage is concerned. With only portions of Webservices in better use than actual webservices as a whole. [ June 29, 2004: Message edited by: Siraj Shaik ]

It only means this exam is easier to take than others, doesn't it?

might be. I think the SCJP is the hardest exam, the SCWCD is easier and SCBCD is just OK.

I don't think SCJP was the hardest. I've seen a few posts scoring 100% in SCJP around here and not to mention a lot of good grades too.
