Dear All, Has anyone got the blueprint book from Sun on Web Services -- "Designing Web Services with the J2EE 1.4 Platform: JAX-RPC, SOAP, and XML Technologies" - Inderjeet Sigh et al.. Please can you tell me what is the difference between the posted pdf chapters on Sun's blueprint web site of this book and the actual book content. I checked the number of pages of the book and total number of pages after summing the individual chapters from blueprint web site. The difference was exactly 100 pages!! But when I checked the sections of each chapter and the one given in the TOC of the book (from Amazon and AW both), I found to my surprise that only chapter 8 -- Application Architecture of Sample App has shown an increase in the book. Rest all sections are same with an expetion of one extra section in the end point design chapter. After all this I am CONFUSED AND WOULD ANYONE WHO HAS THIS BOOK TO CONFIRM WHETHER ITS WORTH BUYING DUE TO INCREASED CONTENT WHEN COMPARED TO THOSE INDIVIDUAL PDF CHAPETRS!!?? THANKS IN ADVANCE.... Question to all who are from India... -- Is this book available in India by Pearson Education --low price edition. Many Thanks Best Regards Chetan Raisa

Usually blue print books from Sun are free and match exactly the books available commercially. You did not specify which version had more content. If amazon verison had more content, you might want to wait until the content is updated on blue print website. If website had more content then you know you want to download the book. I always download those books not only because they are free but also because they are latest and greatest and you could print parts of books to read in flight or in train.

I guess the printed version and the e-version are the same at this moment. However, if there are any updates, the e-version will be updated more quickly, as you may need to wait for the 2nd edition of the printed version. Honestly, for preparing SCDJWS, the current blueprint e-version is fine enough. Nick
