certification pre-requisite

The Sun site says that the pre-requisite for this exam is Sun Certified Programmer for the Java 2 Platform (any edition).

I took the Sun Java Certification in April 98. It perhaps was on Jdk1.1 or Jdk 1.0.2. Is that still valid to meet this pre-requisite ? Does it belong this Java 2 platform ( any edition).

I think you need to retake the SCJP again. It might not difficult for you.
