Hi, guys, I bought the book by RMH. I am wondering whether this book is already enough? Do I need to read more documents? Is the blue print necessary? The blue print is too boring for me to read :-) - SCJP 1.4 - SCWCD 1.4 - SCBCD 1.3

J2EE Web Services does not cover all objectives, such as Security, endpoint design, etc, and thus, you may need finding out other resources, that will not bored you. Nick

U would also want to go thru the blue prints and Mikhali study site. See the Java ranch SCJDWS links . Covers all that is required and the links are also there. HTH Dhiren

Richard has listed all objectives that his book deals with in this thread. For all other objectives, you have to find other resources such as the specs for instance.

Hello, Does anyone know if there will be a soon-to-be-published book for JWS certification prep? A friend who wants to develop in this area asked me for leads. Thanks. Barbara [ September 06, 2004: Message edited by: Barbara Norway ]

You may ask Kathy and Bert for releasing their HF SCDJWS. Nick

That would be wonderful. We will be adding to am existing project (where I work), that heavily uses Java Web Services. PLEASE consider writing this book after Design patterns and / or the the one on film-making Head First Java Web Services .....yes!
