Sorry, Kathy and Bert have not written any books on this exam. 
If not, what's the best books and strategies and recommendations to pass this test?
You can consider to read RMH's J2EE Web Services, together with SUN's blueprint book and MZ's notes. 
In addition, you could read the specifications, if you are comfortable to do so.
