Hi All:

I am planning on taking SCDJWS .In the past I have prepared for certifications by reading books and also doing some basic examples.I would like have some of my doubts cleared before I decide to take this exam

How tough is it to prepare for the exam by reading a book and doing some basic examples.

Has the web services being widely implemented in the industry ??

Compared to SCBCD and SCWCD ,does it need al lot of preparation ??

Thanks

Nothing is tough if you prepare and keep your focused on that ?..

Web services is the future...and companies has started working on it.

I will say every certification needs preparation and hard work.

Just remember "Success is not luck, it is the result when preparation meets opportunity"

So finally it will your call only to go for it or not...

It was the most tough exam I took because there are less materials for this exam.

You can find many Web Services examples if you want to try. If you have WSAD, you will find interesting to develop Web Services applications.

YES. More and more companies try to provide Web Services for information exchange, you can forsee that Web Services definitely become popular in the near future.

I spent more time in SCDJWS than SCWCD and SCBCD, because there are lack of resources.

Unlike SCWCD and SCBCD, there is no Head First series for this exam.
