I recently started studying for it, but probably won't take it until January.

Hi Dinesh,

I would re-start my preparations for the exam after 2 weeks.

I had started my preparations for the SCDJWS early October. And I had planned to appear for exam in mid of Novemeber. Due to some reasons, just after 2 weeks, i had to postepone my preparations.

Can you please advice me what would be good amount of time to clear this exam given the following conditions/informations
1) I have worked on WebServices for about 3 weeks using Axis. So, I know the basics of Webservices.
2) I can devote about 4 hours daily for exam.
3) I am not looking at a great score. But I want a comfortable pass.

Pls advice me about the time frame.

Thanks in advance.

Naveen

I am actively preparing for the exam.

Currently, I am going to RMH Books and Blue prints.
Next steps are
[1]Go thru other material which covers objectives not covered in the book.
[2]Cover exam specific material from some of the sites mentioned in forum
[3]Give mock exams.
[4]schedule and give test.

Tentative dates: November end -- Mid December

Hi Naveen,

Given that you have some basic understanding of Web Services and you can spend 4 hrs per day, In my opinion you will need atleast 15 days preparation to clear the exam comfortably.

You may want to start your preparation with the following.
* RMH Book
* MZ Study Guide

I also preparing, but it will take not less than 2 month to prepare for it. Each RMH book's page takes about 10 minutes to get totally clear and put needed parts down to the paper :S. But this is not so urgent actually, the plan is to pass the exam in the february.
