I took the SCJP test back when they still had expiration dates. I took my SCWCD exam a week ago, as my SCJP was just about to expire. Can anyone tell me what (if anything) I'll need to do to take any further certification tests - specifically the biz components or web services tests? Will I need to re-take the SCJP because mine's expired? Or take the update? Or am I good to go? thanks in advance, Tom Cates

Hi Tom, Could you please read the Javaranch Naming Policy and change your name in My Profile? Thanks Nick

SUN has no longer added any expiry date for certifications, and thus, if you wish to take SCDJWS, even the *original* expiry date pass, you could still do so, and you will still receive your certification if you pass the exam. Nick
