Does anyone know when the SCDJWS practice exam from e practice exams is coming out? Has anyone tried the Whizlabs or Certgear practice exam for this certification??? Does any ranchhand know about the epractice exams, I think e practice is closely afilliated with SUN. Dibbo

Dibbo, Did you ever get any information regarding your question? I have just started studying for the SCDJWS exam. Based on information in this forum and the FAQ I intend to use the RMH book along with MZs study guide and quiz. I am looking for advice on other practice exams. I am considering purchasing 1 of the following commercial practice exams for SCDJWS: 1. Whizlabs SCDJWS Exam Simulator. Currently there are 207 questions (499 questions in final version) for $89.95. 2. CertGear SCDJWS Practice Exam, 300 questions for $59.95 Anyone else have feedback regarding these exams? Hi Mike, I never got an answer to this question. My previous experience with Whizlabs, for the SCMAD simulator wasn't a good one. That simulator really didn't help much with the test and had a few mistakes in it. The E practice exam from Sun however was quite good, I had to repeat the test, I failed once after relying on the Whizlabs simulator. This simulator may be much better, Valentin Crettaz is one of the authors. But I am waiting a while before I start studying for this, it will complete the list of Java certifications I have to do, I am going to skip the Developer and Architect one for now. I have been programming in C# for two years and I don't really value the Developer cert, I don't think I will learn much from it, I do these certs to motivate myself to study and increase my Java knowledge, it off course looks good on a resume even though I work primarily in .NET. The links for ordering the certgear test don't work. I can't download a practice test, you have to download a cut down free version before you can order the real test. Have you had any luck with this?
