Howdy Ranchers, Now that I have made up my mind about cracking this test, I'll be hanging around this forum more than any place else. Just thought of welcoming my self PSST- Dont' tell this to folks at SCEA forum. They'll miss me

Hi Ajith It's good to have you here. I have officially started preparing for SCDJWS now, too (I am assuming I will get a pass for my SCEA). As always I have a million things on at work but I look forward to being able to share ideas with another contributer. Good luck with your prep!

In such sense, will you extend your book list with SCDJWS passport? I am waiting for Max's book, however, he said the book might be delayed. Nick

Nick, you've done with this cert... Are you waiting for Max's book just to increase your knowledge in Web Services, not for the exam preparation?

Glad to see you among us Ajith I hope you'll havea great stay with us... Don't worry we won't tell anything in the SCEA forum... At least as long as the exam is not updated, I won't spend much time there

I might prepare some trainings on certifications for my company, and I am looking for corresponding texts. Nick

Gee... thanks for the welcome guys. I already feel warm and fuzzy. I started reading RMH book at a local bookstore last weekend and I am going to complete it this weekend. Honestly I skimmed through some chapters( DOM/SAX/JAXP etc) since I know them comfortably well. Once I complete the RMH book I am going to prepare just for the test - ie., going through notes linked from the links page. I have done some WS stuff using Axis so it is not all new turf for me. But frankly things have changed since then( and continue to change every day ) so there's a lot to catchup. Cheers,

Ajith et al, I passed SCEA last month and am moving on to SCDJWS. This week, I'm attending SD Expo in Santa Clara. Everyone is talking about WS/SOA/SOAP. It's amazing that for the first time ever major vendors are agreeing on a set of specifications. It's clear that J2EE architects will soon have to reasonably know .NET as well... You got to love a change in this industry to survive. Shogo
