book on web services, not for cert

Hi All,

Though I work in J2EE for last 2 years, I am a beginer for Web Services. I want to learn web services in detail. Right now, SCDJWS is not my aim, but just need a book and easy book to learn web services in detail. Can anyone suggest me a good book?
From the forums, looks to me that J2ee(tm) Web Services by Richard Monson-Haefel is a good book. But since its referred with reference to certification, though of asking again.

RMH's book is not entirely dedicated to Certificate, it is dedicated to WS-I Basic Profile 1.0 and most J2EE web services API's. It doesn't even have JAXB chapter.

You might want to try Java Web Services Architecture
by James McGovern, Sameer Tyagi, Michael Stevens and Sunil Matthew ISBN:1558609008

But RMH's book is easy to read and follow if you have exposure to XML and J2EE.
