Hi SCDJWS Certified Ranchers,

Just wanted to know if the questions were tricky with code snippets with the API related method signatures or do they resemble SCEA Part 1 style.

I am kind of confused whether to memorize the API level functions or to just know about them at a very high level.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
Syed.

I think the we should remember API for the following.

1) javax.xml.registry
2) javax.xml.registry.infomodel
3) javax.xml.rpc
4) javax.xml.soap
5) javax.xml.rpc.handler

I have seen many API related questions in Whizlabs and MZ's mock exams. I am not sure about the actal exam questions as I am also preparing for it.

I wouldn't compare anything to the SCEA exam as it is very old and does not match Sun's certification standard anymore. The new Sun's exams are much more geared towards performance-based questions which do not require you to know everything by heart. A stronger accent is now put on your capabilities of analyzing a problem domain and your ability to devise a solution for that problem. The best way to achieve this level of knowledge is to practice, practice and practice again until things start to seem natural to you. My advice to anyone (which has worked for me as well as for many students I have had) is the following:

As long as you are aware that you are trying to remember something, you are definitely not ready because the answer doesn't come in a natural way since you are forcing it through your neuronal highways. As soon as stuff comes out of your mind naturally, you can start looking at your agenda.

I agree. Here's the link: http://aspose.com/file-tools
