If an additional SOAP header is added, what are the effects on the WSDL? Will it only add an <operation> element to the <binding> ?
Thanks in advance.

You dont have to add operation in the binding.. You will be having operation element already in binding.. You will have to add wsdlsoap:header tag inside the input tag of that operation.

I agree. Here's the link:
subject: WSDL modification for additional SOAP header
Posting to a webservice
is soapAction attribute required in WSDL definition file to be valid WS-I Basic
JAX-WS generated client request missing SOAP body
Error: no SOAPAction header!
