Hi Gents,
I plan to take SCDJWS exam and could you please answer the following?

#1. What is the web service version they use in exam?
#2. What is the current web service version in market?

Thanks in advance!

Regards,
Raj. (SCJP, SCWCD, SCBCD, SCEA-PART 1).

There is no single WS version. WS are implemented using a variety of standards, each of which has different versions. Commonly used are SOAP 1.2 with attachments, WSDL 1.1, and WS Basic Profile 1.0. Those also happen to be the ones supported by J2EE 1.4, which is what the SCDJWS exam is based on.

Ulf,

Just correcting your msg, SOAP 1.1 is supported by J2EE 1.4 and consequently covered on the exam.
