Guys,

I'm willing to start studying for SCDJWS exam. Please help me on this. I heard that there is going to be a newer version of the exam. So any guidance and suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Guys,

I'm beginning to learn web services and I want to start off from the basics that would get me started in actually preparing for the SCDJWS syllabus. I mean do I have to have a thorough knowledge on xml/XSLT?

Where can I find the syllabus for the exam?

XML/XML Schema/SOAP/WSDL yes.
XSLT no - but you need to know how to use the JAXP/TraX API to run an XSLT transformation and why you would want to do a transformation in connection with SOAP web services.

Do I have to read the entire 700 page RMH book to clear SCDJWS?

As such the answer to your question is "Yes". However you can also look at this topic.

Hope it helps.

Cheers!
