Then you haven't been looking very hard:

Which is the most suitable application server to prepare for SCDJWS?

JWSDP: Java Web Services Developer Pack. It is the Sun reference implementation (RI) for J2EE 1.4 web services.

JWSDP 1.0 existed when the SCDJWS was first created and JWSDP 1.6 was the last version that could be used in a Java 1.4 environment. JWSDP 2.0 introduced JAX-WS but also required Java 1.5. The JWSDP should be used in combination with the Sun Java System Application Server PE 8.2.

Since then the capabilities of the JWSDP have been absorbed into the Glassfish/Metro platform while JAX-WS is available separately as a reference implementation.

Given that you are "running out of time" I don't quite see what options you have. J2EE 1.4 web services use different deployment descriptors than Axis 1.x; Axis 1.x cannot deloy SLSBs as web services; JAXB 1.0 isn't part of Axis nor is JAXR. It would be beneficial to work through the relevant J2EE/JWSDP tutorials to reinforce the theory.

Whether you can pass, much less "get a good score" by constraining yourself in this way depends very on on your own capabilities.

Well, Peer, when it comes to TOOL, what comes to your mind is a UI based stuff that makes your life easier. So I thought that Marut was referring to a tool called Altova XML spy.

I am aware of the WSDP

hi for certification reading books would suffix.
but having certification without application knowledge is of no use. You got to decide yourself.
In my point to clear certificate there is no need for hands on experience, but this is not the intention of having certificate or so.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
