Its like reading gross text, just text, very much less diagrams. Every time I start a new chapter, life is good till i read the introductor text, but once i enter the xml part of it, the book dozes me off. i feel as if i am sleepless since ages

i now understand the wonder called hfsj. the authors process the technology, take pains and come up with a book for you, that is not only friendly to your brain, but also is close to all the technological aspects and even the exam too. i still remember the introductory pages, of the wcd hfsj book, where the authors explained 'how to bend your mind to submission' . No wonder they have the AI experience!!!

while reading the hfs series books, ou know where are you going. you find more sense in the preparation.

any chance of HF series for this exam?

Hm.. Yes, undeniable fact about HF series. I have not seen RMH book so i can't comment anything.

If i am right, the authors (Bert Bates) said that they may be writing a book in future.

Good luck

Hi Guys,

The O'Reilly Head First is looking for an author for such a book. If they find an author, we will help them out, but unfortunately we won't be able to take the lead on such a book at this point.

When we do find an author, we'll let everyone here know - but you should know that even if we found an author tomorrow, it would probably be at least 9 months before the book would be completed and available. So, if you want that certification, don't wait!

I've actually been very interesting in throwing my hat into the ring on such a certification guide, but the problem with SCDJWS is that yo ucan't help but think there will be an update soon. When an update comes out, I think you'll see a bit bigger drive for new certification exams to come out.

Don't forget to find MZ's notest for this exam. His notes are currently "the book" for SCDJWS.

At first the reading of RMF could be very dull indeed. It gives you a detailed description of the webservices and you are wondering what the heck do I need to know this.

But if you just do some practice it will be better and you will know what to remember and what to skip through.

I'm reading it now for a second time and it will do better. I decided to do some practice after the first time.

Good luck and don't give up.
