Hi I called the sun educational services. The exact information is Sun do not sell any more vouchers for the Architect exam. If you have a voucher you can use it till March 31. The representative told me that Sun is revamping the architect exam. This suspension of the exam is temporary. palani prasks.webahn.com
Hi I'm satish from India. I'm having sun java prog. exam on 18th. My prep. is get'g on well. This site is extremely useful. After the exam, I'd like to appear for Architect(java) and develper exam. You said it has been suspended temporarily. How long is it. And there is no book available for Java Arch.,except the one written by Jaworski. It's useful, but not comprehensive. Please give detils for this? Sincerely awaiting ur reply. Regards satish

I called Sun UK and they told me that the exam has been suspended for a while due to security reasons. Anybody knows which security reasons these are? They could not tell me how long the suspension is for. Any info will help please!!

Sun is revamping the architect certification process to include a more enterprise Java-centric exam and a performance based component (a project). As Paul mentioned, it will incorporate lots of EJB (v1.1), other J2EE technologies, network protocols, security, design patterns, UML... Thankfully, most of the arcane stuff on the old exam has been minimized or eliminated.
