this is just to inform that 2 days back i've cleared the scea
by 75%. i got disappointed a bit as i did't get the percentage of my expectations. iam expecting around 85%. anyway its a big sigh of relief as this exam took the hell out of me during the preparation. anyway i should be thanful to the javaranch which is one of my main reason for this part. anyway i think now the real work starts. but as java market is at its real low now iam not sure whether to go for the part 2 immediately. i would appreciate if somebody gives me a suggestion in this regard.
i will come up with a new post later on. good luck for all aspiring for scea. as for the resources to the scea aspirants there is nothing much i've to say as most of it's been already dealt with in this forum. but as for the exam it is mailny on the lines of sun's objectivelist. issues like scalability, mainatainability etc.. were covered. other questions are on expected lines.
thanks

Congrats on passing part 1!
As to going on to part immediately or not I think that is more how you feel vs the job market. If you have the motivation to move forward do it now. If not, then take some time off but not too much time or you may not get going again!
My 2 cents...

Hi Raju
Congrats! for Passing Part1
How many Questions did you get on Design Pattern?
As per My openion if Part II deals with Design using UML & Design Pattern then it is hardly any relation regarding Java Market. If You know all the aspects of Design you can implement it in any project.Because UML design is the Ultimate.

I will suggest you to go for the Part II.I think it will help a person when he will design a Project, rather then Coding.
How many UML related Questions did you get in the Exam?

regards
Bidyut
