Hi
recently when iam going through ejb-uml book by arrington
i've found that the design uses UI,CONTROL,AND ENTITY OBJECTS
IN THE SEQUENCE DIAGRAMS for every use case. do we need to go to that much detail for the scea part2. i also have another question.if two actors are participating in a use case what we will do in a sequence diagram. i mean can we just mention both the names for the same actor figure.
thanks

Hi
If both the actors do the same job for that particualr Use Case, then I guess you can provied both the names for a single Actor Stick man

If you have two actors performing the same role against a Use Case, then identify a base actor from which you inherit your two actors (Ensure that this relation ship is captured in any use Case Diagram). In the sequence diagram, indicate the base actor only. If however both of your actors perform different roles with respect to your Use Case, then you can include both these actors at the appropriate sequence in your sequence diagram.
