New to this SCJA Forum

Dear all,
I am a newbie to this forum and also to the topics of Architect exam. I found so many resources and links from other postings; The problem is that, now I am at a loss where to start from and what all topics are to be studied and in what order. Please, please help me on this and advice a topic for me to start with. Also give me your valuable TIPS. Thanks for your time and help..

Hi!
Although I�m also pretty new to this forum, I hope I can provide some tips for you.
First go through the EJB 1.1 specification, and also through the O�Reilly EJB book
Then concentrate on UML with Martin Fowlers "UML Distiled".
With this grounding you can start with the GoF Patterns book.
But there are also great Resources on the web, like www.serverside.com they provide lots of information about EJB and Patterns.
Then you can go through the misc. topics, which are provided on the "A very good resource" thread in this forum
Perhaps more experienced people can give you more info, thats my way to prepare!

Look for it at www.java.sun.com and then under Products and APIs
But I have to say, that I tryed the HTTP Download with the Servlet spec yesterday but it did not work, but the FTP download should work, if Sun did not checked the problem already.

I have logged in using an id containing my real name; Unfortunately I couldnt get an id in my real name "Jacob George". So is there any problems? This name also contains 2 distinct words seperated by a space and is meaningful, isnt it??

Apparently both "Jacob George" and "Jacob George007" are registered to the same e-mail address, jacobg@avenir.net. The former was registered on 6-26-2001, and the latter on 8-16-2001. So Jacob, it looks like you simply forgot you were already registered. If you've forgotten the password as well, then use the "forget your password?" link to have the system mail the password to your registered e-mail.
