My question is why Sun gives us a business domain model ?

For a normal design situation, I only need a clear requirement to develop use cases. Then based on the use cases I can develop my business model for each of the use cases.
I do not understand what is the intention of Sun by giving us a business model ?
Please help me to clearify the confusing.
Thanks in advance
Ruilin

I think they intended it to help as a definition of terminology. I think it serves to confuse more than anything else. I also think they want you to deal with conflicting requirements.

Carl,
Thanks for the response. It is not a regular expression of the requirement from the system analysis.
I think 'business domain model" just provides a means for basic business needs and requirements to be expressed. It just provides us a starting point for developing the system, which is by no means complete and may or may not directly map onto our implementation.
The above is my understanding so far. Please comment if I mis anything.
Regards,
Ruilin
