When I completed the other tests there was a thing called section analysis. If I missed a question in a particular area I was scored a certain percent. If I scored 80%, I suspected I missed one of 5 questions. If I scored 33% I suspected I missed 2 of 3 questions. If the people who have taken the test could give us a little insight as to how many questions were in each section, those of us still studying might be better able to prioritize. Thanks in advance.

From Chris Mathews post 4/11/02 I got 45/48 for a score of 93%. My breakdown was: Concepts 100% Common Architectures 83% (6 questions) Legacy Connectivity 100% EJB 100% EJB Container Model 100% Protocols 100% Applicability of J2EE 66% (3 questions) Design Patterns 100% Messaging 100% Internationalization 100% Security 50% (2 questions) That shows the breakdown in three categories. Who knows how many on patterns?

There were 4 questions of patterns in my test, 4 questions on EJB container model as well, 3 on protocols.

I searched the archives and found the distribution: Concepts 6 Common Architecture 6 Legacy Connectivity 5 EJB 9 EJB Container 4 Protocol 3 J2EE Applicability 3 Patterns 5 Messaging 3 I18N 2 Security 2 Historically, we miss a lot of questions on Common Architecture.

The objectives do not require an understanding of XML. But it is important to understand that the horizontal services (container provided) are either managed by the container (declarative) or programatically by the developer. To that effect it is helpful to know what are the things that the DD includes and which of them are configurable. HTH.
