First of all I want to thank to those participating in this forum; there is so much usefull information posted here.
- I experienced also a test failure;in the beginning, after completing the survey an error occured and I was considered failed. However the Prometric guy was helpfull and in one hour I was taking the test.
- I missed 4 questions in common arch, legacy and security.
- I noticed that the GUI was not so friendly as it was that on SCJP, there was not a "Mark" button, so I had to write down the number of questions that I wanted to review later.
- I used Enterprise JavaBeans 3rd edition,
UML distilled,Design Patterns by Cooper and Professional J2EE EAI by Matjaz B.Juric(just read a little bit for 2-3 days),articles and links from this forum.
- I agree with the previous posts that UML,Messaging,Design patterns and Internationalization questions are not time consuming.
Also in EJB if you have the concepts clear it is
possible to answer quickly.
- I had 30 minutes left to review the answers.
Good luck to everybody preparing for this exam.
Alex

Thanks,Bruce. And congratulations to you for passing the IBM exam.
About part 2, I hope in one week I will have the assignment(probably it takes a few days for Prometric to send the results to Sun, I have to pay, and finally to download).
Later I want to buy Craig Larman's book on UML and I understand there is one more good book about designing Java 2 Enterprise applications.
And most important I need an UML tool.
I'll check the posts about it.
