I am wondering what certificate an employer would like better on a resume, for someone (namely me) who has not had an IT job before, to get a job as a low level Java programmer. A Computer-Science-Degree and a
SCJP
or SCJP,
SCJD
and a SCJEA.

Well IMHO Computer Science Degree plus SCJP should do good. Specially lot of companies and placement agencies filter resume based on degree.

Toomsie!
Considering you smoked part I, why not finish?
SCEA
is as impressive as SCJP, IMHO.
The previous opinion is very valid.
