Fellow Ranchers. My greatest score for any IT certification exam is this one!!! I am really felling delighted and satisfied of the efforts I'd put in spanned over last few months.
And it would not have been possible withour your contribtuion. Thanks a many to ALL of you.
And special thanks for Ian and Sanjay for their great product. I never believed that i would be in position to score over 90's and SCEAWhiz was of great help. Its really worth its price. Found many similar quesitons and the questions were easier than the practice examss.
Used Mark cade but found some of the chapters to be poorly written, althogh the book as a whole was of some help.
Also got benefitted by mock exams listed at scealinks page. Definitely the book on Design Patterns was of great help not just for the exam but also as an experience.
I would be happy to answer any particular answer. WIll write more later.
For people who have passed part II and III: Please advice me the preparation path??
Thanks once agian.

Jacques, congratulations!
This is a wonderful grade (score)!
and I am also using SCEA@Whiz and my exam is on Wednesday, October 9 -- but I have so many questions regarding some of the scenarios in Whiz mock exams...
How similar did you find SCEA@Whiz scenarios and questions and the actual exam?
What exactly do you mean by "easier" questions on the real exam?
Do you have any suggestions in particular? Please share you experience!
Thank you so much and congratulations to you again!

Thanks Syeid for your wishes.
I found couple of questions from Whiz simialr to the actual exam. Yes, there are many scneraio questions in SCEAWhiz and probably it is one of the good features.. very difficult to get good quality scenario based questions otherwise.
I find the toughness level of WHIZ questions to be higher than the actual exam.
If you are scoring good in it, you will smotthly pass through the final exam. Only suggestion at this time is to keep your cool and be confident.
All the best

Jacques Rodes,
Thank you for your kind remarks. We have all faced the exact same problems...Cade was a very good comprehensive summary (in most chapters), but not quite sufficient in terms of scenario questions. Hence SCEA@Whiz.
Glad you found it useful. Congratulations and welcome to Part 2.

Jacques,
Thank you for your wishes too!
If I may ask -- in which section you did not get 100% to have the total of 93%?
I think you score is GREAT! Your hard work is rewarded! You could send you score to Whizlabs to be considered for "Scorer of the month".
Thanks again and I wish you the same success for part II and III plus 7% heigher!

I also used all these.
For the EJB part, and common Architecture, I also found the "Using Enterprise JavaBeans by Cavaness and Keeton very helpful.

Hey, congrats Jacques. I'm glad to hear you didn't get burned by whizlabs while "Generating Unique Customer Key" at whizlabs website. Its a good thing you were actually able to use the software you paid for and didn't have to either: 1) postphone your test until support@whizlabs.com actual helped you or 2) ate the 53+ dollars you spent on the (un-activated) software and took the test anyway.
HEY! - If someone were to 1)pay for whizlabs-SCEA exam simulation software, 2) take the test without ever being able to use said software (and pass) - would this hypothetical person still be able to 3) "send you score to Whizlabs to be considered for "Scorer of the month"!!!"??? (yippeee, hurray!!!.....)
that would be swell. then I could be as ecstatically happy as all the other trolls who just loooooooooovvvvvvvveeeeeeeee all the great software from whizlabs....

Del,
I never had any problem with WHIZlabs products or their support. Instead I owe a lot to them for my success in couple of IT certification exams, especially the J2EE ones.
Had I been at your place, instead of waisting time in writing mails and messages, I would have studied, especially when my exam is near.
Anyways, good luck for your exam and I can bet that you'll realize the value of SCEAWhiz product as many others like me.
Best wishes
JR
