Hi all, I understand some of the benefits of being certified like skill verification, etc. Could someone share some stories about there career really benefitting from being a SCEA? Did you receive promotions, pay raises, etc? How has your job changed? Also, can anyone provide links to articles about this certification? TF SCWCD, SCJP
I went from unemployed to employed in a field I had little experience in. I worked for years in Basic, C, PERL and Assembler. But I had only 1 year of Java experience and little of that was J2EE. Certification buys credibility on the resume and in the interview.
