Case Studies

Folks, There are many books on Java Patterns, UML, EJB, Architecture but I have not found many resources and books on Case Studies for Java based systems.
If you have read any books and resources on real case studies that projects have used, it will be great to learn about them. I think this will also help for the exam.
I am aware of a Sun Series book on it, but that des not go in the architecture details of the cases it talks about.
